No matter the occasion you can celebrate at our place! Book a private party.
The historic mahogany bar (the full front bar) at CAV dates back to the nineteenth century. Purchased from Irreplaceable Artifacts in 1990, it came with a provenance, showing this bar was originally from Pete’s Tavern – the oldest Tavern in New York.
Great food! Pretty beautiful atmosphere. Great menu with so many amazing options like a shallot sun dried tomato pasta, fried goat cheese appetizers and baked Brie. Their menu is a gem and the service was great too. Lovely restaurant for a special occasion or a weekend dinner.
Very eclectic. That's a perfect word for CAV! Antiques are everywhere! It was a party of 7, and it was great! Service was timely, and food was just as eclectic as the restaurant! They have a great drink menu(and a huge bar!) and wine list. There is also a small courtyard area..
This is one of my all time favorite places for lunch and Brunch. I have not been here for dinner yet but I am certain that I will not be disappointed. My favorite meal is the lobster and eggs Benedict, it is very delectable. I enjoy it with scrambled eggs and a side of bacon...
I love this place. it's like dining in a museum! The food is always unique and very artfully presented and tasty. Fun outdoor seating too. Our server let us move outside for drinks and dessert which was fun. I have been to Cav several times and recommend it to anyone visiting Providence.
A funky spot that's great for a date night or a night out with friends and family. CAV has been a staple on the Providence restaurant scene for a while and one meal there will show you why. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
